Podiatry practice Podometrix

Since 2005, podiatrist Charlotte De Jonckheere has been active in Deinze with her Podometrix Practice. With extensive knowledge and expertise, all patients are individually and extensively biomechanically examined.

Podiatry practice Podometrix mainly focuses on biomechanical analyses. By conducting an extensive interview and performing an extensive podiatric examination with gait analysis, the patient gets an objective view of the cause of the complaint. If the cause of the complaint falls within the podologist's field of activity, it will be treated, if necessary, with podiatric insoles (not orthopaedic insoles). Podometrix is also the right partner for preventive research for all target groups and age categories.

The podiatric insoles are custom-made on site in the Podometrix lab and ensure a well-founded, clinically correct and well-founded follow-up of the complaint. Of course we work closely together with other disciplines to provide you with an appropriate treatment plan. Through our complaint-oriented podiatric approach, the patient's ability to recover is promoted and the optimal body balance is restored. Patients are further given extensive advice and education and if necessary or as an addition, will be referred to the appropriate care provider (specialist foot care, physiotherapist, osteopath, general practitioner, sports doctor, physical physician, orthopedic foot surgeon, ...) if the cause of the complaint does not fall within the field of activity of the podiatrist.

Podiatry Practice Podometrix strives for cooperation with different branches of healthcare. The patient will receive the right guidance and, depending on his complaints, he will possibly be referred to specialised services. This stimulates a strong collaboration between Podometrix and the different professional groups of the medical, paramedical and care sectors. As a podiatrist, we can form an important link between the various disciplines. Based on our knowledge of the causal background of a symptom, we will refer the patient with the necessary support. In this way, the doctor and the podiatrist can work together to restore and maintain good health, with the interests of the patient always at the forefront.

We try to keep the ecological footprint of Podiatry Practice Podometrix as low as possible by sorting and recycling as much as possible.

For whom ?

Children as well as adults and sportsmen can turn to a professional podiatrist. Also in systemic disorders such as rheumatism, diabetes, neurological disorders and connective tissue diseases, the podiatrist has a clear added value.

For which complaints ?

Patiƫnten aan het woord

  • Charlotte made the right diagnosis and selflessly steered me in the right direction. I have just undergone surgery for compartment syndrome with extension of the calf muscle. I will return soon for podiatric insoles.

  • Charlotte's work is of the highest quality. Her very human and complete approach takes into account the person as a whole (health, lifestyle, posture, ergonomics, etc...) as well as the complete history through a comprehensive questioning in chronological order. She looks from A to Z at the static and dynamic abnormalities to be corrected using static and dynamic analysis of the gait as well as pressure points of the feet. Making plaster casts based on the comprehensive preliminary biomechanical analysis to designing and fitting the podiatric soles. These are made of durable materials studied according to the health parameters and needs of the person.

  • Two GPs and a kine couldn't tell, but it took you 2 seconds to see that I was wearing shoes that were too small. The inflammation on top of the ankle never came back: bingo on it!!!
I am very grateful to you and have already advertised. Also bought step shoes in Oostburg. These have once again instilled in me what good shoes are.... My big toes are now back on the ground.
Good that you came my way. Thanks.

  • After my visit to your practice on 8 June last, I took your advice and bought new walking shoes via your outlined foot size, which fit me extremely well. The pains in my legs are slowly disappearing. I wanted to let you all know about this. Especially because I am also very grateful for your advice on good shoes. I will definitely continue to follow it.
